This is the reinterpretation of Didong dance into a form of abstract painting which derived from the movement of prostration(sujud), translating the islamic value of the dance itself.

I found this word somewhere, and wonder what does it mean. So, this is the basic definition I guess, from Uncle Wiki. Of patio.

A patio /ˈpæti.oʊ/ (Spanish: patio 'courtyard', 'forecourt', 'yard') is an outdoor space generally used for dining or recreation that adjoins a residence and is typically paved. It may refer to a roofless inner courtyard of the sort found in Spanish-style dwellings or a paved area between a residence and a garden.

Patios are typically made of durable surfaces such as bricks, tile, or natural paving stones.

What, where and how to start, anyone? Ok, no one. Since I'm not very fond of long exaggerated essay, so I'll just make it short but very compact one. Of architecture, what can I say?

It's a tough course, and nobody can argue this, anybody? In the name of Allah, trust me, it demands EVERYTHING from you, sacrifice, courage, determination, responsibility, truth, patience, passion, what else? Can I say it's a process? We start from nothing, to something, developing from less functional till it perfectly functioning, from a sketch on piece of paper to a three dimensional model. It's a continuous process, towards pure creation of mind.

Malay traditional house design related to the culture of Malays, and climate in our region.

A mark which define some sort of culture, customs, civilization, climate, history of certain region and it revolutionized as time passing by, established certain relationship between environment, people and Creator, aroused one emotion, what is it? Obviously there is no any other answer, but architecture.

It's the art of strengthening your faith, art of widening your views, get out from tempurung and thinking without a box, art of bridging the gap among each other that varies because it's the variation that unites us, art of CRIT, refine the art of seeing to see the world beyond your naked eye, learn the art of get back up when you're failed, art of survival, too many arts lies in architecture which also wrapped up with science and technologies. Yet..

All of this won't never make us bigger when compared to the creation of our Almighty Architect, Allah SWT. May the things that we've learn all this while can make us even more closer to Him.

The Day We Had To Part

Assalamualaikum.

Memories of yesterday and the past 2 months will ALWAYS linger in my mind, off all the thing I left behind(what did I left anyway? Hmm hahaha.)

Days turn into months, why everything seems to be so freaking fast? You'll always be missed, friends. Moving on extremely takes a lot of pluck, it won't be easy to forget the moment. Very hard indeed.

3rd Trial

Okay, this is what I've been doing all this while, and this is the end product. It's Saturday and me, don't really feels like blogging, I'm just update this moss-grown blog for the sake of updating.

2nd Trial

Assalamualaikum.

Just finished my single storey semi-detached house design last week, this is the second trial to make it in 3D after the shoplot. This, I started from zero, from preliminary sketches, plotting the layout with CAD, buat plan, elevation, and Sketch-It-UP.

Done.

Upcoming.

The design, memang obviously very ordinary lah, very basic one. Nama pun trial kan. Hehe. Upcoming, double storey pulak. Tengah buat 3D based on working drawing given by En. Kamal. Yeahhh. (Ooops maafkan saya kerana merojakkan bahasa.)

Assalamualaikum.

On BERSIH 2.0, I don't want to talk much regarding this issue. Because, I somewhat disappointed with broadcast media for not telling the truth? Manipulating, and even mocking people? No matter what position we hold, that never gives us the right to simply disregard them.

If media are no longer can be trust, then what we should trust? Lots of double standard happening in our country. Justice?

And I think it would just be better if BERSIH 2.0 was not a rally, but a debate? So that the argumentation will be more factual than emotional, and no one might get hurt, maybe?

Assalamualaikum?

Okay, Nurshila is updating her blog now. Pfft. 1st of June, and this is the very 1st task given to me. I just stared blankly at the screen at first, because I don't even have a clue of how and where to start.

Nevertheless, my officemate is kind of helpful to guide me, till I managed to do it(at least). Yet the end product is not that satisfying lah.

Since I'm still new in this world of ThreeDimensional, the given task were merely to train myself. So that I'll be able to work with 3D software, and get used to it.

I should be thankful to Ar.Tengku Mahmood for providing me a room to learn tonnes of things there, and experienced the exact environment of architectural practice in the firm.
